ONE NINETY-SIX DAYS MORE:  The Les Misérables team wants to show off the fact that everyone's singing live in the movie.

Favorite tidbit not in this video? All the actors wore body mikes, to get the quality needed, and they just erased them in post.

I really thought I was done with Les Mis (it was a phase in high school), but damn.  I have to see this.

Live, as in they show up in the theater where I'm watching and sing? Because I'd spring for the XD for that.

Whoa, I haven't been that moved by this music since the first time I saw it.  This trailer makes the movie look fantastic.  I'll get a babysitter and a box of tissues.

I've never seen Les Mis before but am now sufficiently intrigued.  Should I wait to see this one or should I watch another version in the meantime?

You could wait to see this one and then afterwards watch the 10th anniversary concert DVD (1996) - might be better to know all the plot before watching the concert version, since you have that option and the concert version leaves out the staging and some connecting parts that would make all the plot points clear.  If you love Samantha Barks as Eponine in the movie (I expect to), you might want to watch the 2010 Les Mis in concert DVD, but again, I'd probably wait till after the movie.
