WHEN DID THESE GET DECLARED? A (likely incomplete) list of Wars you can view on your television screen over the next few weeks (at least according to my searching):
  • Parking
  • Cupcake
  • Storage (both ordinary and Texas versions)
  • Shipping
  • Star (Episodes IV-VI)
  • Prom
  • Monster Bug
  • Border
  • Swamp
  • L.A. Gang
  • Mexican Drug
  • The Clone
  • Sex

May I present tomorrow's schedule of TV movies on Lifetime?

    8 AM: The Perfect Bride
    10 AM: The Perfect Nanny
    Noon: The Prefect Neighbor
    2 PM: The Perfect Marriage
    4 PM: The Perfect Assistant
    6 PM: The Perfect Roommate
    8 PM: The Perfect Teacher
10 PM: A Perfect Murder [which cheats by breaking the pattern with its implied irony.]  [Although I bet that murder turns out not to be perfect.]

Not to mention by use of the indefinite article.

We started doing our part by beginning Return of the Jedi tonight (we're breaking it up into two nights to try to get the kids back on a school schedule).  Did original versions of SW and ESB over the past couple weeks and they loved 'em - I only have the enhanced version of RotJ, though.  Man, that "enhanced" Max Rebo Band blows.

The kids are on their own if they want to watch the new trilogy - I don't and won't own the discs, and I worry about seeing those rental receipts thrown back in my face in my imaginary future confirmation hearings.

Clearly they couldn't swing the deals for Perfect or A Perfect Getaway.  But the burning question: Will they be able to squeeze in a marathon of Perfect Strangers?

You guys, the nanny is NOT perfect!  She is in fact a crazy murder pants!

RotJ complete, and to my minor dismay, the girls liked it the best of the trilogy.  Guess my new mission is to impress upon them that it's OK to have an opinion, but theirs is wrong.
