FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY:  The Daily Beast compiles eight SNL musical performances allegedly worse than that one last week by that person that everyone's hatin' on who I basically know nothing about other than that she's got haters.

(Related: Ian Spanic reminds us that Spanic Boys really exist; the most obscure musical guests in SNL history.)

Eh, I never thought the Sinead thing was that bad.  She and Rage did commit the sin of doing something in performance that they didn't do in rehearsal, a dick move all the way.

  2. yep, that's not a bad Sinead performance, just one that pissed off a bunch of people. Her "Last Days of Our Acquaintance" on SNL in 1990 is probably my favorite musical performance on the show.

In Weingrad & Hill's Saturday Night, they said the actual damage from the punks at the Fear performance was virtually nothing, it was highly elevated by the media.  I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

  4. Fear was good.  Not bad.  They're confused.

  5. Sinead's "Last Day..." definitely my all time favorite SNL musical performance.
