I quite enjoyed the book, but I think it has adaptation problems in that there's no clear narrative throughline, much less a clear single protagonist or antagonist. If the network were still under the control of the same people who founded it, maybe you have a story there.
I don't know what you're talking about. The Mariners are currently up 9-2 in the bottom of the 9th and are on the cusp of increasing their current winning streak to 1.
Why not? Peter Krause as Dan Patrick.
ReplyDeleteBen Affleck as Keith Olbermann.
ReplyDeleteJonah Hill as Chris Berman.

ReplyDeleteAnne Hathaway as Stuart Scott. NPH as Charlie Steiner.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't Craig Kilborn be Craig Kilborn? He strikes me as...available.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that's a bigger loser than that joke is the Seattle Mariners.

ReplyDeleteTo be fair, as good as the MLB-leading Phillies are right now, they'd still have to go 51-9 the rest of the way to catch the 2001 Mariners.
ReplyDeleteI showed up seven hours too late to make this joke.
ReplyDeleteApparently Dan Patrick is going to be on Countdown tonight to cast the movie with Keith.
