AIN'T NUTHIN' BUT A 'Q' THANG:  They've added 3000 more words to the official Scrabble dictionary, including qin (a Chinese musical instrument), innit, grrl, vlog, punaany, and thang.

    Thank goodness, it's the UK version.  Innit?  Vlog?  (Qin, on the other hand, should be perfectly acceptable; it's also a proper word, but it is part of guqin and qinqin.)

  2. I have a love/hate relationship with some of the new words from the last update -- QI and ZA in particular.  It makes it too easy to use the Q and Z, but at the same time I'm often grateful to be able to use them to get out of a late-game jam.

    I feel like OSPD4 isn't that old, but I just looked at my copy, and it's from 2005.  Haven't heard anything about an OSPD5 yet though.  I'm not anxious for it, as I'll have to buy a new copy of the computer game.

    I can see allowing vlog (not any different from blog, really), but definitely will not be using innit in games on this side of the Pond.
