ONE TWO THREE FOUR, ANYONE WATCHING ANYMORE?: So, we start by booing the Commish. And I like it.

And the "ESPN Insider" guy's eye makeup has him looking like a besuited refugee from an Adam Ant video. And I LOVE it.

And the Panthers start it all off by picking Cam Newton, who, given his history and the dismal state of the Carolina team, is sort of a Schrodinger's Quarterback, a Jamarcus Elway, if you will, and --

And is anybody else watching this absurdly over-hyped and labor-relationally strained pseudo-event this year? Thoughts?

The NCIS rerun on USA is far more compelling, unless the fans start booing Goodell again.

  2. True, but I DVR'd that rerun when UniHD aired it last Wednesday ... so ...

  3. Oooh, is this the episode where Gibbs figures out who did it at the last minute, DiNozzo makes a somewhat dated pop culture reference, and Abby demonstrates forensic science abilities beyond the ken of mortal men and women?  Because I love that one!

No no, it's the one where Ducky makes a macabre remark and mocks his assistant!

The Panthers demonstrate once again why they are the Panthers and not an NFL team.  That's just so colossally stupid.  The Titans are giggling uncontrollably.  Oh wait, the Titans drafted who?  Wow.  And the Vikes?  Yikes.

Apparently the GMs and other people who think and actually know something about football are also locked out.

That the Cardinals passed on drafting a QB means either they think all of the QB's in this draft are terrible, and/or they made a handshake deal for Kolb.

Not watching the draft tonight, but I guess we know where Phil voted in last week's Grammar Rodeo.
