I met Marc Summers when he was promoting the Game Show Network. An incredibly polite and genial man who seemed flattered when I told him how much I had enjoyed Double Dare growing up.
I keep hoping for a revised version of GSN's Playmania. I could watch it for hours.
Growing up, Double Dare was on my mother's long list of banned TV shows. We weren't allowed to watch Double Dare because they "wasted food." We tried with no avail to convince my mom that all of the stuff they rolled around in wasn't really food...

ReplyDeleteI endorse this, but suggest that it be a revival of Family Double Dare, so that we can watch Kim's family and Adam's family go head to head.
