BECAUSE NO ONE CAN WAIT 47 MONTHS UNTIL SOCHI: ABC has decided to double down on plans to resurrect prime time ice skating in the coming months. First comes a two night "Thin Ice" competition featuring new pairings of professional skaters, with toplist names including Stéphane Lambiel, Jamie Salé and Shae-Lynn Bourne performing before judges Button, Witt and Yamaguchi. Afterwards, they'll resurrect a failed Fox concept to introduce Ice Dancing With The Stars for a six week run -- pairing professional skaters with the best that the B- and C- list can offer, including a likely supply of covert Canadian ringers.
