MISS TEEN WOLF CALIFORNIA: Still emptying out the crap that accumulated in my head while I was home sick yesterday. This brief throwaway exchange from Teen Wolf jolted me awake and reminded me how long ago the 80s were. It wasn't the words, which you'd find in any number of movies today, but the offhandedness of them -- they weren't played for laughs or effect; they weren't there to help us understand the characters or the context. They just take up space. Very weird. Also weird: the guy who tosses out the epithet is the one with the floppy hair, skin-tight t-shirt, form-fitting crotch-hugging turquoise pants, and red belt. He who smelt it ...
