tWHEN I COME TO AMERICA, PIZZA IS MY HAPPINESS: For those of you not following the competitive eating mid-season, Kobayashi defeated Joey Chestnut in a P'Zone eating contest, inhaling 5 3/4 of them in six minutes. Interestingly, neither of the competitors stopped to dip their P'Zone is the marinara sauce.
Kobayashi - the best competitive eater of all time - has also announced he will likely retire after the Nathan's Hot Dog contest this July 4.
